UNAUTHORIZED ENTRY OF AN INHABITED DWELLING

LABADIEVILLE– Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jamiah Deron Harris, 34, of 143 Violet St., Labadieville, La., on felony charges arising from a possible simply burglary complaint near Labadieville on Tuesday evening.

Uniformed patrol deputies were dispatched to a residence off of La. 308 and made contact with the complainant who advised that a former domestic acquaintance had entered her home without authorization while she was away and stole items.

At the conclusion of the investigation, deputies were able to locate and arrest the suspect now identified as Jamiah Deron Harris. Deputies took Harris into custody at a residence on Violet Street.

Jamiah Deron Harris was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling
*Detainer – Probation and Parole – Docket Number ASM DK# 21-113
*Detainer – Probation and Parole – Docket Number TER DK# 835856

Jamiah Deron Harris remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing on the unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling charges and was ordered held without bond on the two detainers from the Louisiana Department of Corrections, Probation – Parole Division.
