UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A MOVEABLE
RILEY DEVON DANTZLER, JR.

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Riley Devon Dantzler, Jr., 20, of 1215 Barker Cypress Road, Cypress, Texas, on felony charges arising from an incident which occurred in late July of 2023.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of Myles Street in Paincourtville in reference to the unauthorized use of a moveable. Deputies made contact with the complainant who advised that an individual now identified as Riley Devon Dantzler, Jr., borrowed his vehicle and failed to return it. The complainant was in contact with Dantzler, but he refused to return his vehicle and shortly thereafter quit communicating with the victim.

Through investigative efforts, the vehicle was located in the town of Garland, Texas.

At the conclusion of the investigation, warrants were obtained for the arrest of Riley Devon Dantzler, Jr.

On April 26, 2025, Riley Devon Dantzler, Jr. was arrested by the Texas Department of Public Safety in Angelina County, Texas.

Riley Devon Dantzler, Jr. was released to the custody of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office on May 1. 2025.

Riley Devon Dantzler, Jr. was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

Riley Devon Dantzler, Jr. was incarcerated and released on a $5,000 commercial bond.
