UNLAWFUL DISPOSAL OF HUMAN REMAINS – EDDIE LEE CLARK, III
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Eddie Lee Clark, III, 29, of 124 Washington Avenue, Thibodaux, La., on multiple felony charges arising from a homicide investigation involving the death of a Thibodaux businessman who died on or about September 16, 2023. The death was ruled as a homicide.
On September 18,2023, the body of the victim was recovered in Bayou Lafourche North of Labadieville.
As a result of continued investigation, deputies were able to determine that the victim’s remains had been dumped into the bayou off of the LA -1011 bridge.
Through investigation, detectives were able to identify a pick-up truck used to transport the victim’s body to the La. 1011 bridge. That vehicle was registered to Eddie Lee Clark, III.
At the conclusion of this investigation detectives secured arrest warrants for Eddie Lee Clark, III. The suspect had been incarcerated in multiple jurisdictions since his initial arrest in Terrebonne Parish.
On July 30, 2026, Eddie Lee Clark, III, was released to the custody of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office by the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Eddie Lee Clark, III was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Unlawful Disposal of Human Remains
*Obstruction of Justice
Eddie Lee Clark, III, is currently housed in Lafourche Parish and awaits a bond hearing on the Assumption Parish charges.
