Veterans Day

Today, November 11, 2025, we celebrate Veterans Day across our great nation.
Ours is a country filled with promise because ours is a history shaped by the heroes, past and present who are part of the greatest and most powerful armed forces in the world.

All of our veterans have worked to make this world a better place with their courage, sacrifice, and dedication to the United States of America. No words can ever express our true appreciation to our veterans.

We live in the greatest country in the world. Thank you for all you’re doing to keep it that way. We send a huge Veterans Day salute to every veteran home and abroad for serving in the proud and honorable tradition of the U.S. Military.

From all of us here at the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office, we wish all of our veterans the best on their special day, and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
