VIOLATION OF PROTECTIVE ORDER / FELONY

BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jesse John Solar, 34, of 425 Memorial Drive, Apartment #20, Donaldsonville, LA, on felony charges arising out of a domestic type situation which occurred near Belle Rose on Wednesday evening.
Deputies responded and made contact with the alleged victim who indicated that she and the accused, now identified as Jesse John Solar, had a dispute two days earlier which continued on.
At some point on Wednesday evening, the disagreement turned physical for the second time with Solar committing a battery on the victim.
Investigating deputies found probable cause to conclude that the suspect had indeed committed a battery on multiple occasions.
Jesse John Solar was arrested at the scene and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Facility on charges of:
*Battery of a Dating Partner
*Violation of a Protective Order – Felony – (A second or subsequent offense)
Jesse John Solar remains incarcerated with a bond set at $50,000.
