VIOLATION OF PROTECTIVE ORDER, FUGITIVE WARRANT
LARRY GILMORE BLANCHARD, JR.
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Larry Gilmore Blanchard, Jr., 47, of 275 Highway 1012, Napoleonville, LA, on charges arising out of a Saturday morning complaint near Labadieville, LA.
A uniformed patrol deputy was dispatched to the LA 1012 address in connection to an individual violating a protective order.
Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the complainant who advised that he had previously filed a protective order against Larry Gilmore Blanchard, Jr and that he was currently violating the protective order. The deputy reviewed the protective order and confirmed its validity.
Deputies then made contact with Larry Gilmore Blanchard, Jr. who confirmed that he had been served the protective order. Deputies further learned that a fugitive warrant existed for the arrest of Blanchard.
Larry Gilmore Blanchard, Jr. was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Violation of a Protective Order
*Fugitive Warrant – Ascension Parish
Larry Gilmore Blanchard, Jr. remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing and will be transferred to Ascension Parish.
