VIOLATION OF PROTECTIVE ORDERS (FELONY)

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Lionel Mitchell, 57, of 121 Highway 1014, Labadieville, LA, on felony charges of violating protective orders.

On Tuesday afternoon, deputies responded to a complaint in the area of LA 1014 regarding a disturbance and the aforementioned accused violating a protective order.

Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the violator, now identified as Lionel Mitchell, who failed to comply to deputies’ orders to surrender.

The accused physically engaged the deputy and at some point, was arrested.

Lionel Mitchell was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Violation of Protective Order (Felony)
*Resisting an Officer
*Failure to Appear in Court for a Prior Protective Order

Lionel Mitchell was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
