VIOLATION OF PROTECTIVE ORDERS – KAGAN LANE MCDONALD
PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kagan Lane McDonald, 24, of 10836 Big Sur, Baton Rouge, LA, on felony charges related to protective order violations.
On January 18, 2020, deputies responded to an apartment complex in Pierre Part in reference to a protective order violation.
Deputies spoke to the complainant who advised that her former domestic partner was currently under a protective order and he was violating the terms of that order by repeatedly attempting to contact her. The deputy received and interpreted the protective order and determined that the document was valid and identified the former partner as Kagan Lane McDonald.
As a result of the deputy’s investigation, it was determined that McDonald had violated the order’s conditions on multiple occasions.
The deputy applied for and received a warrant for the arrest of Kagan Lane McDonald on a charge of:

Kagan Lane McDonald was arrested on Wednesday by East Baton Rouge Parish authorities, transported to Assumption Parish, booked and incarcerated in the Assumption Parish Detention Center. He remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
