WARRANT – AGGRAVATED FLIGHT
AQUENDAS ADEREOUS RODRIGUE
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Aquendas Adereous Rodrigue, 24, of 513 St. Partick Street, Donaldsonville, LA, on a warrant for Aggravated Flight arising from a traffic incident / pursuit which occurred on November 04, 2024.
On the aforementioned date, a uniformed patrol deputy assigned to the I.C.E. detail observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation near Spur 70 and LA 308 in Plattenville.
The deputy attempted a stop of the vehicle but the driver continued on engaging the deputy into a pursuit situation. The suspect vehicle continued on LA 308 and then crossed over to LA 1 heading northbound. The pursuit continued into Ascension Parish until the deputy was able to successfully terminate the pursuit. The deputy arrested Aquendas Adereous Rodrigue and he was booked into the Ascension Parish Jail as a fugitive from Assumption Parish.
On Thursday, Aquendas Adereous Rodrigue was transferred to the custody of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office. Rodrigue was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Aggravated Flight from an Officer
*Resisting an Officer
*Speeding
Aquendas Adereous Rodrigue remains in incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
