WARRANT – RESIDENTIAL CONTRACTOR FRAUD – JARRED GRIFFIN
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jarred Griffin, 44, of 3053 Ridgeway Boulevard, New Orleans, La., on a warrant charging him with Residential Contractor Fraud dating back to 2018.
On June 28, 2018, deputies responded to a complaint in Pierre Part related to contractor fraud. Deputies made contact with the complainant who advised that a “contractor” identified as Jarred Griffin whom he indicated he owned Alpha Contractors in Houma, La., agreed to build a structure for the complainant. Jarred Griffin accepted a deposit to build the structure but never returned to begin construction of the project. The complainant made numerous attempts to contact Jarred Griffin to no avail.
The matter was forwarded to detectives for follow-up investigation. Detectives determined that Jarred Griffin nor Alpha Contractors were licensed to do contracting services in the state of Louisiana.
On November 15, 2018, detectives secured an arrest warrant charging Jarred Griffin with residential contractor fraud.
On March 30,2026, the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Jarred Griffin on the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office warrant.
Jarred Griffin was released to the custody of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office on April 7, 2026.
Jarred Griffin was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Residential Contractor Fraud
Jarred Griffin remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
