DOMESTIC INCIDENT – TYRECK KENNETH LEWIS
BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Tyreck Kenneth Lewis, 24, of 129 Frank Lane, Belle Rose on multiple felony charges arising from a domestic incident which occurred on Wednesday morning, May 8, 2024, near Belle Rose.
Deputies were dispatched to the Belle Rose area to meet a complainant involved in a domestic incident at 129 Frank Lane. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the complainant who advised that she and Tyreck Kenneth Lewis were involved in a domestic relationship which ceased on Wednesday morning.
During an argument, Tyreck Kenneth Lewis began dragging the complainant out of the home. As the complainant entered her automobile, Tyreck Kenneth Lewis allegedly broke her back glass. At some point, Tyreck Kenneth Lewis allegedly pointed a gun at the complainant.
Deputies did observe injuries consistent with domestic abuse. Deputies located Tyreck Kenneth Lewis on Blackwell Lane. At the time, deputies observed physical injuries to Lewis’ hands and arms that he apparently sustained while breaking the car glass.
Tyreck Kenneth Lewis was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Domestic Abuse Battery
*Aggravated Assault with a Firearm
*Simple Criminal Damage to Property
Tyreck Kenneth Lewis remains incarcerated with bond set at $85,000.
