TRAFFIC STOP, FUGITIVE ARREST – I.C.E. ARREST
YANCEY NICOLE BOVELAND
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Yancey Nicole Boveland, 32, of 529 West Park Avenue, Thibodaux, La., on a felony fugitive warrant from the New Orleans Police Department following a traffic stop on LA. 1 south of Napoleonville on Monday Evening.
A uniformed patrol deputy assigned to the I.C.E. detail observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver now identified as Yancey Nicole Boveland and engaged the driver in an officer / violator interview. The deputy determined that Boveland was operating a vehicle while her Louisiana drivers license was suspended, and she had no valid vehicle registration.
During a warrant inquiry, deputies determined that Yancey Nicole Boveland was wanted by the New Orleans Police Department on a fugitive warrant.
Yancey Nicole Boveland was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Fugitive Warrant for the New Orleans Police Department on a charge of:
*Non-Consensual Disclosure of a Private Image
*Speeding – 75 Miles Per Hour in a 55 Mile Speed Zone
*No Valid Vehicle Registration
*Driving Under a Suspended Driver’s License
Yancey Nicole Boveland remains incarcerated pending transfer to the New Orleans Police Department.
