UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A MOVEABLE (AUTOMOBILE)

BELLE ROSE– Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Samantha Jo Chenevert, 38, of 113A Raceway Court, Belle Rose, LA, on felony charges arising from a complaint deputies investigated on Monday.

Deputies made contact with the complainant who advised that sometimes between Sunday night and Monday morning, a 2015 GMC Sierra was stolen from a residence in the 6000 block of LA 996.

Based on the information provided by the complainant, Samantha Jo Chenevert was identified as a suspect in the case.

On Monday evening, the vehicle was located at the suspect’s home.

Deputies arrested Samantha Jo Chenevert and booked her into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

Samantha Jo Chenevert remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
