AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH A FIREARM – MICHAEL J. MUSE, SR.
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Michael J. Muse, Sr., 64, of 610 West 6th Street, Donaldsonville, LA on a warrant charging him with aggravated assault with a firearm connected to an incident on December 12, 2022 near Belle Rose.
On the aforementioned date, deputies responded to a complaint at a retail outlet in reference to an aggravated assault.
Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the manager who advised that he had previous issues with the accused Michael J. Muse, Sr. at another retail establishment in Ascension Parish that the complainant also managed.
The complainant advised that Michael J. Muse, Sr. went to the Belle Rose location on December 12, 2022 and did remove a shotgun and pointed it at the victim and made threats as well.
Deputies were able to corroborate the victim’s allegation through other resources.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Michael J. Muse, Sr.
Ascension Parish deputies arrested Michael J. Muse on Wednesday. Muse was transferred to the custody of Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday and booked into the Detention Center on charges of:
*Aggravated Assault with a Firearm
Michael J. Muse remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
