ARMED ROBBERY – GUN LAW VIOLATONS
TORIE LEWIS and CHRISTIAN WARD
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Torie Lewis, 19, of 108 Marshall Lane, Napoleonville, LA and Christian Ward, 18, of 131 Marshall Lane, Napoleonville, LA, on charges related to a December 4, 2019 armed robbery near Napoleonville, LA.
On the aforementioned date, deputies and detectives responded to a complaint of shots fired near Napoleonville.
Investigating detectives began interviewing a number of persons and determined that an armed robbery had occurred. As the investigation continued, Torie Lewis and Christian Ward were identified as likely suspects. Detectives further determined that the shots fired were done so by the victims in defense of the armed robbery. There were young children in the victim’s vehicle.
As a result of the investigation, Torie Lewis was arrested on Tuesday at a Terrebonne Parish truck stop with the assistance of Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Houma Police Department. Lewis was booked on charges of:
*Armed Robbery with a Firearm
*Possession of a Firearm by a Person Convicted of Certain Felonies
Torie Lewis’ bond was set at $125,100.00
Christian Ward was arrested on December 6, 2019 by the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office on charges of:
*Armed Robbery with a Firearm
Christian Ward’s bond was set $25,000.
All firearms involved have been recovered.
