DISTURBANCE – AGGRAVATED BATTERY

BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Dwayne M. Adams, 54, of 6295 Highway 1, Belle Rose, LA, on felony charges arising from a domestic disturbance near Belle Rose on Thursday night.

Deputies were dispatched to the location and made contact with Dwayne M. Adams as well as the alleged victim.

Through investigation, deputies determined that Dwayne M. Adams and a female engaged into an argument. Allegedly at some point, Dwayne M. Adams threw a glass beer bottle at the victim causing notable injuries.

Dwayne M. Adams was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Aggravated Battery with a Dangerous Weapon

Dwayne M. Adams remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
