DISTURBANCE / FIGHT – ROBERT E. HARRISON

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Robert E. Harrison, 45, of 40 Elmwood Drive, Destrehan, LA, on felony charges resulting from a Tuesday morning incident at a Labadieville business.

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a disturbance. Deputies arrived on scene and made contact with the management who indicated that the individual in question went into the business and became unruly. The suspect engaged in a violent confrontation and destroyed merchandise and then engaged in a fight with a customer who was attempting to assist in the matter.

The suspect was later identified as Robert E. Harrison. He was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Aggravated Battery
*Disturbing the Peace
*Simple Criminal Damage to Property
*Resisting an Officer

Robert E. Harrison remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
