DOMESTIC ABUSE BATTERY
NICHOLAS WALTER GRIMMETT

AMELIA – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Nicholas Walter Grimmett, 38, of 134 South Verret Street, Morgan City, LA on charges related to a domestic incident on Sunday night.

Deputies responded to the complaint and made contact with the alleged victim who is the domestic partner of Grimmett.

The victim advised that she was at an outing and when she got home, her spouse began making accusatory remarks towards her, then began to repeatedly kick and beat her.

After investigating all evidence related to the matter, deputies filed arrest warrants against Grimmett.

Nicholas Walter Grimmett was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Felony Domestic Abuse Battery

Grimmett was released on a $35,000 bond.
