DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE – DRUNK BUSTERS
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon’s Office conducted an exercise this past Friday titled, “Drunk Busters”.
The program was in advance of the Assumption High School Prom.
The presentation demonstrated the effects of drinking and driving through specially formulated goggles. Students drove through a specifically designed course on 4 – wheeled carts.
Sheriff Falcon stresses that each year, the State of Louisiana loses many lives and sadly a large number of those are teenage drivers involved in traffic accidents where alcohol is a factor.
Sheriff Falcon wishes all of out students the best as the school year comes to conclusion and urges everyone to practice safe driving habits.
Sheriff Falcon thanks the Assumption Parish School System for allowing us to conduct this exercise with students at Assumption High School and thanks to all who participated in the event.
