NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Todd M. Blanchard, 54, of 157 Elmfield Drive, Napoleonville, LA, on drug law violations on Thursday morning.

As part of an ongoing parish wide drug probe, narcotics agents established probable cause to conduct an investigatory stop of a vehicle being driven by Todd M. Blanchard. Agents and uniformed patrol deputies initiated the stop near Napoleonville.

Agents interviewed Blanchard and during the process, the violator consented to a search of his vehicle.

During the search, a quantity of suspected crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia was seized.

Todd M. Blanchard was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Possession of Crack Cocaine
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Blanchard was incarcerated with bond set at $35,0000.
