FAILURE TO REGISTER AND NOTIFY AS A SEX OFFENDER

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Hector Pina, 28, of 118 Pin Oak Street, Labadieville, LA, on felony charges accusing him of Failure to Register and Notify as a Sex Offender. Hector Pina was previously convicted in the State of Texas of Prohibited Sexual Contact with a Female in 2016.

Pina was due for renewal of his sex offense registration including his place of employment which he failed to report.

Through investigation, it was determined that Pina had been in the area for two months and had not reported his status as required.

Hector Pina was arrested in Labadieville on Wednesday and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Failure to Register and Notify as a Sex Offender

Hector Pina remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
