FAILURE TO REGISTER AS A CONVICTED SEX OFFENDER

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Larry O. Murry, 42, of 2876A Highway 1, Labadieville, LA, on felony charges of failing to properly register as a convicted sex offender.
On December 22, 2022, the Sheriff’s Office Detectives Division initiated an investigation to determine if Larry O. Murry was in compliance as a Registered Sex Offender.
Larry O. Murry has prior sex crimes convictions for Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile and Aggravated Incest. Murry last registered his address in October of 2022.
Deputies conducted a compliance check and determined that Larry O. Murry was not residing at the last registered address. Detectives determined that Murry was living at a residence in Schriever, LA.
Larry O. Murry was arrested on Wednesday and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Failure of Sex Offenders to Notify Law Enforcement of a Change of Address / Residence or Other Registration Information
Larry O. Murry remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
