FUGITIVE WARRANT – AMY LYN BENOIT

BAYOU L’OURSE– Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Amy Lyn Benoit, 33, of 100 Moffet Court, Bayou L’Ourse, LA, on a fugitive warrant from St. Mary Parish.

Deputies on patrol assignment observed a female walking near LA 398 and Moffet Court at 2:00 a.m. Wednesday morning. The deputy stopped to conduct a welfare check and conducted a warrants check on the subject, now identified as Amy Lyn Benoit.

It was determined that St. Mary Parish had felony warrants for Benoit on drug charges.

Amy Lyn Benoit was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Fugitive Warrant – St. Mary Parish – Felony Drug Charges

Amy Lyn Benoit was released to the custody of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday.
