GUN / DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS
KYLEIGH TATE CAMPBELL and THOMAS FONTENOT

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kyleigh Tate Campbell, 20, of 19849 Lod Stafford Road, Walker, LA. on felony charges and the citing of Thomas Fontenot, 21, of 3227-A Lee Drive, Pierre Part, LA on misdemeanor marijuana possession charges.

On Saturday evening, deputies were dispatched to the Shane Street and Mary Ann Street areas in connection with a fight amongst several individuals.

That investigation resulted in deputies locating suspected marijuana and a firearm during a consent search of a vehicle at the location of the fight. The firearm and marijuana were in a vehicle in the control of Kayleigh Tate Campbell.

Deputies also located marijuana in the possession of a vehicle in the control of Thomas Fontenot.

Kayleigh Tate Campbell was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Possession of a Firearm, in the Presence of controlled Dangerous Substances
*Possession of Marijuana

Kayleigh Tate Campbell was incarcerated and later released on a $15,000 bond.

Thomas Fontenot was issued a summons for Possession of Marijuana and released.
