MARDI GRAS PARADE IN NAPOLEONVILLE
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2024 – Beginning at 1:00 p.m.
NAPOLEONVILLE – The Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with representatives of the Village of Napoleonville, release the following information relative to the Napoleonville parade route.
The parade will require those streets to be closed during the parade.
The Village of Napoleonville will host a Mardi Gras parade with the municipality boundaries on Saturday February 10, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. The line-up is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Railroad Park. The parade route is as follows:
Start – Railroad Park turn left onto St. Mary St.
Proceed down to St. Mary St. to Dr. Martin Luther King
Turn right onto Dr. Martin Luther King
Proceed up Dr. Martin Luther King to Hwy. 1
Turn right onto Hwy. 1 then turn right onto Franklin Ave.
Proceed down Franklin Ave. to St. Mary St.
Turn left on St. Mary and proceed straight to Canal St.
Turn left on Canal St. and proceed up to Hwy. 1
Turn left on Hwy. 1 to Jefferson St.
Turn left on Jefferson St. and proceed down to St. Mary St.
Turn left on St. Mary St. to proceed back to Railroad Park
There have been no special event or party permits issued by the village of Napoleonville. Therefore, as the parade concludes, all streets will be returned to normal traffic flow.
