POSSESSION OF A FIREARM BY A CONVICTED FELON
DEAN E. HUE, JR.

BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Dean E. Hue, 21, of 7509 Highway 1, Donaldsonville, LA, on felony firearms charges, during the execution of an arrest warrant on Friday morning.

Deputies and detectives went to the aforementioned address with a warrant charging Dean E. Hue, Jr. with Failure to Appear in court for a domestic abuse battery arrest and traffic violations.

Upon locating Hue, law-enforcement officers observed a rifle and ammunition in close proximity to Hue. The suspect is a convicted felon. Hue was previously convicted of Simple Burglary, that occurred in 2018.

Dean E. Hue, Jr. was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Failure to Appear – Domestic Abuse Battery
*Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
*Failure to Appear – Driver’s License Not on Person, Passing on Left

Hue was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
