PROBATION VIOLATION, FAILURE TO APPEAR / DRUG LAW VIOLATION – JESSIE RAY BREAUX
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jessie Ray Breaux, 33, of 259 Danos Court, Chauvin, LA, on warrants charging him with Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish as well as a probation violation.
Jessie Ray Breaux was previously arrested in Assumption Parish on a charge of Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance. As a result of that arrest, Jessie Ray Breaux was ordered to appear in court on January 3, 2023. Breaux failed to do so resulting in a warrant being issued for his arrest on January 20, 2023.
Additionally, a warrant for a probation violation was issued for the arrest of Jessie Ray Breaux who was previously convicted of Possession of Methamphetamine in Assumption Parish on November 7, 2022. As a result of that conviction, Jessie Ray Breaux was placed on supervised probation and ordered to comply with special conditions and violated those conditions resulting in a warrant being issued on January 31, 2023.
Jessie Ray Breaux was arrested by the Houma Police Department on local charges there on March 19, 2023.
Breaux was released to the custody of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday. He was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on January 3, 2023 on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine
*Probation Violation
Jessie Ray Breaux remains incarcerated without bond.
