SIMPLE BURGLARY – SIMPLE CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the filing of verified complaints against five juvenile offenders ranging in ages from 11-14 in connection with the burglary and damages to a local school facility.
Deputies responded to a call on March 31, 2020, in connection with the burglary and vandalism.
Detectives initiated an investigation and, in the process, identified a total of six individuals responsible for the incidents.
At the conclusion of the investigation, five of the six were charged by verified complaint on counts of Simple Burglary and Criminal Damage to Property in excess of $1000.
The sixth individual could not be charged due to age.
The other 5 suspects were released to the custody of their parents. All suspects were from the Belle Rose and Napoleonville areas.
