THIRD DEGREE RAPE – CODY C. LANDRY
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Cody C. Landry, 31, of 679 Highway 70, Belle Rose, LA, on felony warrants arising out of a continuing sex crimes investigation.
Cody C. Landry was previously arrested in August of 2020 on charges related to molestation of a juvenile and indecent behavior with a juvenile. Those crimes were allegedly committed against a juvenile.
In April of 2022, new allegations against Cody C. Landry surfaced which led to detectives obtaining new arrest warrants for Cody C. Landry. Assumption Parish detectives contacted Texas authorities and requested assistance in arresting Cody C. Landry who was working in that state. Cody C. Landry was arrested in Texas on a charge of third-degree rape.
On May 8, 2022, Cody C. Landry was transported to Assumption Parish and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Third – Degree Rape
Cody C. Landry remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
