TRAFFIC – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – RYAN P. PREJEANT
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Ryan P. Prejeant, 39, of 3502 Shadow Wood Dr., Haughton, LA, on felony drug law violations following a traffic stop near Napoleonville, LA on Monday evening.
A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and executed a stop of that vehicle south of Napoleonville.
The driver, now identified as Ryan P. Prejeant, was interviewed and acknowledged a quantity of suspected marijuana in the suspect vehicle. That marijuana was located and Ryan P. Prejeant was arrested. Deputies also seized a quantity of meth-amphetamine.
At the conclusion of the investigation, Ryan P. Prejeant was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Driver Must be Licensed
*Obstruction of Justice
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Meth-Amphetamine
*Head Lights Required
Ryan P. Prejeant remains incarcerated with a bond set at $21,000.
