PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Hobie Paul Hebert, 26, of 144 Paul Street, Pierre Part, LA and Farrah N. Domingue, 25, of 317 Shell Beach, Belle River, LA on multiple felony drug charges arising from a traffic stop at LA 70 and South Bay Road on Sunday afternoon.

A uniformed patrol deputy, on special holiday assignment, observed a vehicle with an equipment violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle. As the deputy executed the stop, the two occupants switched seating positions. The driver was identified as Hobie Paul Hebert and when ordered to exit the vehicle refused to do so. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of marijuana, hydrocodone and oxycodone. Both Hobie Paul Hebert and Farrah N. Domingue were arrested.

Once at the detention center, a more invasive personal search of Hobie Paul Hebert resulted in the seizure of a quantity of cocaine.
