TRAFFIC STOP – FUGITIVE – T.J. JENKINS

PLATTENVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of T. J. Jenkins, 29, of 35481 River Road, Donaldsonville, LA on fugitive warrants arising from a traffic stop on LA 70 East on Friday evening.

A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as T. J. Jenkins and engaged Jenkins in an officer / violator interview. During a warrants check, it was determined that Jenkins was wanted on fugitive warrants for Ascension and a second warrant for a probation/parole violation from the Louisiana Department of Corrections.

T.J. Jenkins was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Probation / Parole Violation
*Fugitive Warrant – Ascension Parish

T. J. Jenkins remains incarcerated pending judicial proceedings.
