OBSCENITY (FELONY) – MELVIN S. BREAUX, JR.

PLATTENVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Melvin S. Breaux, Jr., 40 of 117 Belle Point Lane, Napoleonville, LA, on felony obscenity charges arising from an incident in Plattenville, LA on Friday evening.

A uniformed patrol deputy was dispatched to the area in reference to an individual running in the roadway without any clothing on. The deputy arrived on scene and spoke to witnesses as to their knowledge of the incident. The deputy then located the suspect, now identified as Melvin S. Breaux, Jr. and noted Breaux to appear highly intoxicated.

Melvin S. Breaux, Jr. was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on a charge of:

Melvin S. Breaux, Jr. remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
