UNAUTHORIZED ENTRY OF AN INHABITED DWELLING
AUSTIN JOSEPH CHARLET

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Austin Joseph Charlet, 21, of 1906 Highway 70 South, Pierre Part, LA, on felony charges arising from an incident at a residence off of LA 401 west of Napoleonville.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Friday afternoon in connection with an individual inside of the home without authorization. Deputies made contact with Austin Joseph Charlet and proceeded to interview him. As a result of that interview as well as the interview of the complainant, deputies determined that Austin Joseph Charlet had indeed entered the dwelling without authorization.

At the conclusion of the investigation, the deputy concluded that an arrest of Charlet was appropriate.

Austin Joseph Charlet was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling
*Entry or Remaining after Being Forbidden

Austin Joseph Charlet was incarcerated and released on a $ 1,000 bond.
