AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH A FIREARM – MYLA J. LEWIS

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Myla J. Lewis, 23, of 212 Daggs Street, Belle Rose, LA, on felony aggravated assault charges arising from an incident at the Dorseyville Ball Park on April 15, 2022.

On the aforementioned date, deputies were dispatched to the location in question in reference to a complaint of someone illegally carrying a firearm.

Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the complainant who advised that an individual, now identified as Myla J. Lewis and a second female exited the vehicle they were occupying and approached persons at the park and wanted to fight. At some point, Myla J. Lewis displayed a firearm pointing the same in the direction of the complainants.

At the conclusion of the investigation, deputies obtained an arrest warrant for Myla J. Lewis.

Myla J. Lewis was arrested on Tuesday and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Aggravated Assault with a Firearm

Myla J. Lewis was released after posting a $10,000 commercial bond.
