FUGITIVE – STATE OF TEXAS, PROBATION / PAROLE VIOLATION –
I.C.E. ARREST – MATTHEW P. LOVELL
LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Matthew P. Lovell, 39, of 2826 Highway 1, Labadieville, LA, on a fugitive warrant from the State of Texas.
A uniformed patrol deputy assigned to the I.C.E. detail observed a vehicle late Thursday night in the area of LA 1 and LA 398 with an equipment violation and executed a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Matthew P. Lovell. During a warrants check, it was determined that Matthew P. Lovell was wanted on a fugitive warrant from the State of Texas, Division of Probation and Parole.
Matthew P. Lovell was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Fugitive Warrant – State of Texas – Division of Probation and Parole
Matthew P. Lovell remains incarcerated without bond.
Extradition proceedings or a waiver of extradition will now proceed.
