AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH A FIREARM

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Colby Richard Hutton, 22, of 2523 Lee Drive, Pierre Part, LA on felony aggravated assault charges arising from an incident that began at a business establishment on Thursday and ended on Saturday night with the arrest of Hutton.

On Thursday, April 6, 2023, a disturbance erupted at the retail outlet. All parties left that location and the accused, Colby Richard Hutton along with other individuals continued the incident at a Belle River residence. During the confrontation, Colby Richard Hutton allegedly waved a handgun at individuals. All parties eventually left and went their separate ways. However, the matter did not conclude as anticipated and as a result, Hutton was arrested on a warrant for Aggravated Assault with a Firearm.

Colby Richard Hutton was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Aggravated Assault with a Firearm

Colby Richard Hutton remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
