AGGRAVATED FLIGHT (PURSUIT), DRUG – GUN LAW VIOLATIONS
JARVIS D. ALLEMOND, KAITLIN ALIDA CHEDOTAL,
MARCI ANN TEMPLET and BOBBY JOE BLAKE
PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Jarvis D. Allemond, 25, of 127 Verret Street, Lot C, Pierre Part, La., Kaitlin Alida Chedotal, 25, of 114 North Curtis Street, Pierre Part, La., Marci Ann Templet, 22, of 2191 Hwy. 1 South, Donaldsonville, La., on a multitude of felony charges resulting from a high speed pursuit from Pierre Part to Belle Rose on Monday.
Warrants have been issued for Bobby Joe Blake, 31, of 118 Elm Hall Lane, Napoleonville, La., on charges of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Resisting an Officer. Blake should be considered a dangerous individual. Deputies urge anyone who comes into contact with Bobby Joe Blake to contact the Sheriff’s Office at (985) 369-2912.
On Monday afternoon, an I.C.E. unit came upon a vehicle near Lee Drive and North Curtis Street in Pierre Part, that committed multiple traffic violations. As the deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop, the suspect vehicle which was a U-Haul van attempted to flee. During the pursuit, deputies observed suspects throw a quantity of assorted drugs from the U-Haul van. The suspects also pitched a 380-caliber handgun over a bridge which was recovered.
The pursuit continued to an area south west of the Lula Sugar Refinery where deputies were able to secure the suspect vehicle and two female suspects namely Kaitlin Alida Chedotal and Marci Ann Templet. The two male subjects fled the suspect vehicle.
Jarvis D. Allemond was located and booked on charges of:
*Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
*Aggravated Flight from an Officer
*Unauthorized Use of a Moveable
*Possession of Heroin
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Parole Violation – (No Bond)
Bond proceedings on Allemond are incomplete.
Kaitlin Alida Chedotal was arrested near the suspect vehicle. Chedotal was detained and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Adderall
*Possession of Marijuana (2nd Offense)
*Obstruction of Justice (2 Counts, Hinderance /Delay)
*Flight from and Officer
*Possession of Heroin
*Introducing Contraband (Drugs) into a Penal Institution
Bond proceedings on Chedotal are incomplete.
Marci Ann Templet was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Obstruction of Justice
Templet’s remains incarcerated with bond set at $2,000.
Both Jarvis D. Allemond and Bobbie Joe Blake are multi convicted felons and both under the supervision of Department of Corrections.
The Sheriff’s Office will advise when Bobby Joe Blake is arrested.
