DISTURBANCE COMPLAINT – FUGITIVE ARREST

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Steven Pontif, 36, of 2521 Highway 1, Labadieville La., on a fugitive warrant from Lafourche Parish while deputies were investigating a related disturbance complaint.

On Saturday afternoon, deputies were dispatched to the aforementioned address in reference to a disturbance involving Steven Pontif. During the process of investigating the disturbance complaint, deputies were notified by the communications division that Steven Pontif was wanted on a fugitive warrant out of Lafourche Parish.

Steven Pontif was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Fugitive – Lafourche Parish

Steven Pontif was incarcerated without bond and transported to the custody of Lafourche Parish authorities on Sunday.
