DISTURBANCE COMPLAINT – SIMPLE BURGLARY OF AN INHABITED DWELLING

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Cyrus Ratcliff, Jr., 48, of 120 Pond Drive, Bayou L’Ourse, LA, on multiple felony charges arising from a series of incidents in Bayou L’Ourse on Thursday.
Deputies were dispatched to a Felicia Street address relative to a disturbance. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the complainant who advised that Cyrus Ratcliff, Jr. had kicked in a door to the residence. Upon further investigation, deputies learned that Ratcliff had kicked in doors to a total of three homes on Felicia Street at least one of those houses were occupied at the time of the offense.
While investigating the matter, Cyrus Ratcliff, Jr. drove up to the location.
Cyrus Ratcliff, Jr. was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling (2 Counts)
*Simple Criminal Damage to Property – (3 Counts)
*Home Invasion – (1 Count)
*Criminal Trespass – (3 Counts)
Cyrus Ratcliff, Jr. remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
