DOMESTIC ABUSE BATTERY WITH CHILD ENDANGERMENT
DESTRY LAMARR WILLIAMS
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Destry Lemarr Williams, 39, of 216 Rosemary Street, Houma, LA, on felony charges related to a domestic disturbance.
Deputies responded to a disturbance in the parking lot of the Community Center on Saturday night. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with a married couple who were the subject of the complaint and interviewed both. Deputies also interviewed an independent witness. It was also determined that there were two minor children present when a dispute occurred between the couple.
At the conclusion of the investigation, deputies determined that Destry Lemarr Williams was the aggressor and repeatedly struck his wife in the face with a closed fist. Based upon all the evidence collected during the investigation, Destry Lemarr Williams was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment
*Littering
*Possession of an Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle
Destry Lemarr Williams remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
