DOMESTIC VIOLENCE – JOSHUA JUNIOR BROWN

BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Joshua Junior Brown, 24, of 6567 Highway 1, Belle Rose, LA, on a warrant for felony domestic abuse battery in connection with an October 8,2020 incident that occurred near Belle Rose.

On the aforementioned date, deputies responded to a local medical facility in reference to a person being treated at that location for injuries sustained in a domestic matter.

Deputies interviewed a female subject who had sustained injuries consistent with possible domestic abuse. Deputies learned that a confrontation had occurred near Belle Rose involving Joshua Junior Brown. The incident turned physical resulting in the female sustaining hand injuries.

Upon completion of the investigation, deputies applied for and were granted warrants for both individuals.

Travana Irie Pearley, 20, of 6503 Highway 1, Belle Rose was previously arrested on a charge of domestic abuse battery and posted bond.

On Thursday, Joshua Junior Brown was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

Joshua Junior Brown remains incarcerated with bond set at $2,000.
