DRUG LAW AND PROTECTIVE ORDER VIOLATIONS – JOVVON TIMOTHY WILLIAMS
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jovvon Timothy Williams, 32, of 3726 Highway 1, Napoleonville, LA, on criminal charges arising out of a dispute at a residence on Gold Street in Napoleonville on Sunday.
Deputies were dispatched to the complaint which referenced the slashing of tires.
Deputies made contact with the complainant, who detailed a history with the accused including that she had a valid order of protection against the suspect, now identified as Jovvon Timothy Williams. The order was verified as valid and in full force and effect.
The investigating officer located Williams a short distance away. The deputy attempted to detain Jovvon Timothy Williams and in the midst of a protective pat-down search, the deputy seized a variety of illegal drugs.
Jovvon Timothy Williams was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Criminal Trespass
*Violation of Protective Orders (Felony)
*Simple Criminal Damage to Property
*Possession of Crack Cocaine
*Possession of Methamphetamine
*Possession of Cocaine
Jovvon Timothy Williams remains incarcerated with bond set at $225,000.
