DRUG LAW VIOLATION – DISTRIBUTION – LUCIEN JAMES AUCOIN, JR.
“OPERATION BAYOU CLEAN-UP”
BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Lucien James Aucoin, Jr., 60, of 155 Felicia Street, Bayou L’Ourse, LA on felony drug distribution charges arising from an extensive drug investigation tabbed “Operation Bayou Clean-Up”.
Bayou Clean-Up was a parish wide investigation which identified suspects involved in the illegal trafficking of dangerous drugs.
As such, Lucien James Aucoin, Jr. was identified as distributing illegal narcotics during the month of April’2021. Narcotics agents requested and were granted an arrest warrant charging Lucien Paul Aucoin, Jr. on a count of:
*Distribution of Methamphetamine
*Possession of Methamphetamine
As such, Lucien James Aucoin, Jr. was identified as distributing illegal narcotics in April 2021. Aucoin evaded arrest until April 06, 2022, at which time a search warrant was conducted at 112 Legnon Court and Aucoin taken into custody. During the execution of the search warrant, methamphetamine was located which was attributed to Aucoin.
Aucoin was transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center and booked on charges of:
*Distribution of Methamphetamine
*Possession of Methamphetamine
Aucoin remains incarcerated pending a bond proceeding.
