DRUG LAW VIOLATION – I.C.E. ARREST
DALAINA MARIE RENTROP

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Dalaina Marie Rentrop, 28, of 349 Highway 663, Morgan City, LA, on felony drug charges arising out of a traffic stop on LA 398 near Labadieville, LA on Saturday afternoon.

An I.C.E. assigned unit observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and initiated a stop of the suspect vehicle.

Upon coming into contact with the driver, now identified as Dalaina Marie Rentrop, deputies conducted an officer / driver interview. As a result of that interview, deputies requested and were granted consent to search the vehicle. During that search, a quantity of meth-amphetamine was seized.

Dalaina Marie Rentrop was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Possession of Marijuana
*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine

Dalaina Marie Rentrop was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
