DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – LANCE DAVID METREJEAN

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Lance David Metrejean, 45, of 1004 A Bayou Drive, Pierre Part, LA, on felony drug charges arising from an ongoing narcotics investigation.

Assumption Parish Sheriff’s narcotics officers conducting this investigation developed information that indicated that Lance David Metrejean was involved in illegal drug trafficking / distribution.

As part of that investigation, agents went to a location on North Bay Road to interview Lance David Metrejean. At the conclusion of the interview, agents determined that additional investigation was warranted. Agents requested consent to search the focus area from Lance David Metrejean. The suspect authorized the search, and that process led to the seizure of methamphetamine.

Lance Joseph Metrejean was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine
*Illegal Use of a Controlled Drug in the Presence of Persons Under 17 years of Age
*Probation Violation

Lance David Metrejean remains incarcerated with bond set at $155,000.
