DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – DISTRIBUTION
WILLIAM I. FONTENOT, JR.

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of William I. Fontenot, Jr., 55, of 171 Highway 663, Bayou L’Ourse, La., on felony drug distribution charges related to an ongoing parish wide investigation.

During this investigation, agents determined that William I. Fontenot, Jr. was involved in illegal narcotics trafficking in the Assumption Parish area.

As a result of that investigation, agents secured probable cause and did obtain arrest warrants for William I. Fontenot, Jr. On Monday, Fontenot was arrested in Bayou L’Ourse and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Facility on charges of:

*Distribution of Marijuana

William I. Fontenot, Jr. was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
