FAILURE TO APPEAR – FELONY DRUG CHARGES – ASSUMPTION PARISH PROBATION VIOLATION – TANNER AARON AUCOIN

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Tanner Aaron Aucoin, 27, of Solar, Highway 182 East Apt. 208, Morgan City, LA, on failure to appear charges related to a prior drug arrest in Assumption Parish.

Tanner Aaron Aucoin was arrested on multiple felony drug charges on July 20, 2020 and was served notice to appear in court on July 5, 2022 and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest on July 14, 2022.

Additionally, a warrant for a probation violation was issued for the arrest of Tanner Aaron Aucoin in connection with a felony drug conviction in Assumption Parish. As a result of that conviction, Aucoin was placed on supervised probation and ordered to abide by specific conditions. Tanner Aaron Aucoin’s probation was assigned to the St. Mary Parish Division of Probation and Parole as that was the parish he was residing in.

Tanner Aaron Aucoin violated the terms of his probation resulting in that warrant being issued on May 30, 2022.

Tanner Aaron Aucoin was arrested in St. Mary Parish on February 28, 2023 on local charges in that jurisdiction.

Tanner Aaron Aucoin was transferred to Assumption Parish on Monday and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on July 5, 2020 on Charges of Prohibited Acts – Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substances, Produce, Manufacture, Distribute, Dispense, Possess a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance To Wit: MDMA (Ecstasy) and Suboxone

*Probation Violation

Tanner Aaron Aucoin was served notice with a new court date and released.
