FAILURE TO APPEAR, FUGITIVE WARRANT ARREST

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jermaine Moland, 36, if 195 Ewell Street, Belle Rose, LA, on multiple warrants following an investigatory stop near Bayou L’Ourse.

An I.C.E. Unit deputy on assignment observed an eastbound vehicle on LA 662 being operated by Jermaine Moland. The deputy was aware of outstanding warrants for Moland’s arrest. The deputy stopped Moland and confirmed the warrants were still outstanding.

Jermaine Moland was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Failure to Appear – Theft
*Failure to Appear – Resisting Arrest
*Fugitive Warrant – Felony (Gonzales, P.D.)

Jermaine Moland was incarcerated with a bond set at $100.00. Upon satisfying the Assumption charges, Moland will be sent to the City of Gonzales.
