FELONY CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
DRAKE JOSEPH GEISLER
BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Drake Joseph Geisler, 29, of 113 Velma Court, Bayou L’Ourse, LA, on felony charges arising from an incident at the Bayou L’Ourse Recreational Complex on or about May 18, 2023.
On the aforementioned date, deputies were dispatched to the location and made contact with the complainant / victim who advised that she observed Drake Joseph Geisler pour a substance onto her vehicle causing significant damage. Upon closer inspection, deputies discovered that both sides of her vehicle had been scratched from front to back.
Detectives located Drake Joseph Geisler at the Recreational Complex and confronted him about the incident. Geisler denied involvement.
Detectives continued the investigation and secured evidence supporting the allegation against Drake Joseph Geisler. An arrest warrant was obtained for Drake Joseph Geisler.
On June 12. 2023, Deputies observed Geisler walking to the Bayou L’Ourse area and attempted to take him into custody. Drake Joseph Geisler fled on foot resulting in another warrant being issued for his arrest.
Drake Joseph Geisler was arrested by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office on local charges.
On Thursday, Drake Joseph Geisler was transferred to Assumption Parish and booked into the detention facility on charges of:
*Simple Criminal Damage to Property – Felony
*Resisting an Officer
Drake Joseph Geisler remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
